My story

From the emergency room to the front of the room

My background is primarily in healthcare. While studying to attend medical school, I worked in emergency rooms, psychiatric wards, and homeless outreach programs. After years of working and studying in that industry, I came to the realization that I didn’t want to work for anyone else. I wanted to experience true career freedom — and to offer that same opportunity to members of my community.

My journey into leadership was difficult, to say the least. I came into this from a very different field and had to learn everything from scratch. For the first time in my life, I had to take real accountability, judge myself and my success based on results, and push myself to do things I never thought I was capable of.

Hard work and hard accountability can mold anyone into a version of themselves they never thought was possible.

That is the promise behind Icarus Acquisitions. Every person who joins our team gets the same chance I had: a clear path, real coaching, and the accountability to become the best version of themselves.
